Bryce Zabel’s presentation, “Life After Contact,” is a multi-media journey into the post-Disclosure world that we will all likely experience in our lifetimes as the Irresistible Force of Truth eventually breaks down the Immovable Object of Secrecy.

Drawing inspiration from his book A.D. After Disclosure (co-authored with Richard Dolan) and his Hollywood experiences telling stories of alien contact (Dark Skies, Taken, Official Denial), Bryce weaves a compelling story about what happens after the powers-that-be acknowledge that at least some UFOs are from some place that isn’t here.

He lays out his scenarios minute-by-minute in a high level of specificity, discussing the changes that will come to government, finance, politics, the military, education, culture, spirituality and science. You’ll hear everything from a possible statement on Disclosure from a future president to a sample song about contact from Bruce Springsteen as he explains that the transformative power of this global acknowledgement will be the greatest cultural shift since the 1960s.

He makes specific predictions about stock market closings, martial law, truth commissions, energy breakthroughs and even the birth of new religions. Bryce ends with specific steps that can accomplish this paradigm shift, drawing from protest movements in civil rights, war protest and even the Arab spring.

Highlighting the seriousness with which Washington has long regarded the potential of entertainment media to shape popular perceptions of the UFO phenomenon, this talk will bring together six-decades-worth of concrete cases in which the US government and military have attempted – often successfully – to shape the content of UFO-themed film and television products. In the majority of these cases, the government has sought to downplay the significance of UFOs and to massage its own public image in relation to the phenomenon.
